Built for the field. Engineered for the long run. The NuPresto 400 is NuBlu Energy’s flagship 2-stage CNG compressor package. Same proven design philosophy that built the NuPresto 350 reputation, now standardized and refined for the next generation of CNG mother stations, RNG injection, and virtual pipeline filling.
Overview The NuPresto 400 takes natural gas from pipeline pressure up to CNG fill pressure in a single compact, fully packaged skid. It pairs the heavy-duty Fornovo Gas DA300 frame with NuBlu’s field-driven controls, cooling, and instrumentation engineering to deliver a compressor that runs day and night with predictable maintenance and minimal operator attention.
Standard configuration is 2 stages, with 3 and 4 stage options available for higher discharge pressures and broader suction ranges. Every unit is assembled, wired, and factory-acceptance tested at our facility in Center, Texas before it ships.

Heavy-Duty Reciprocating Frame Fornovo Gas DA300 frame with crosshead-equipped, three-cylinder construction. A platform with thousands of installed runtime hours globally and the structural reserve to handle continuous duty in CNG service.
Non-Lubricated, Water-Cooled Cylinders Non-lube cylinders mean no oil carryover into the gas stream, cleaner downstream equipment, and lower environmental risk. Water-cooled jackets keep cylinder temperatures stable, extending valve and ring life.
Predictable Maintenance Windows Engineered around 4,000 to 8,000 hour service intervals on wear parts. Operators know when the next valve, ring, and packing service is due, and we stock the spares in Texas to support it.
Real Controls, Not an Afterthought PLC-based control system with HMI, remote monitoring via Ewon, and a control philosophy refined across multiple field deployments. Cause-and-effect logic is documented and tested before the unit leaves the shop.
Built and Tested in Texas Final assembly, FAT, loop checks, and HMI commissioning happen at our Center, TX facility. Issues get caught in the shop, not on your site.

Field service, troubleshooting, and remote diagnostics are handled by the same team that designed and built the unit.
